Reiki Level 1

Reiki Level 1: In this course you will become acquainted with the ancient healing practice of Reiki. The main emphasis of Reiki level 1 is to open the physical pathways of energy and connect to the universal life force. This connection clears the energy pathways and frees the body of blockages, laying a strong foundation for giving and receiving Reiki. 

What is Reiki? 

Developed by the Japanese healer Mikao Usui in the early 1900s, Reiki is a form of energy healing that can be used by anyone to support overall mind-body-spirit wellness. By employing gentle touch, this system helps to restore balance to the body's energy. The energy of life, referred to as Ki, flows through us and is essential to our being. When this life force is low, individuals tend to be more susceptible to illness and emotional distress, whereas a higher flow leads to greater physical and emotional well-being.

Reiki itself is derived from two words in the Japanese language: Rei, signifying the wisdom of a Higher Power, and Ki, indicating life force energy. Therefore, Reiki may be understood as “spiritually-guided life force energy.”

• Receive your Reiki Level I attunement
• Practice connecting to the energy
• Be guided through a Reiki self treatment
• Receive your Reiki Level I Training Manual
• Complete your Reiki I certification. 

Recommendations to Prepare for Your Reiki Level I Experience:

In preparation for taking your first steps into a transformative spiritual journey of personal healing, I invite you to honor your journey with your choice of sacred ritual. This may be a special yoga practice, a prayer, or meditation. Additionally, for the 24 to 48 hours before the class, focus on drinking plenty of water and avoiding the consumption of heavy foods and alcohol. By doing so, you will be honoring the process you are about to undertake.
